Send him a postcard, darling: wish Barrett Brown a happy birthday

On 14 August 2016, Barrett Brown will turn 35 years old. It will be the fourth birthday he’s spent behind bars as a consequence of reporting on the Stratfor hack that helped to expose the extent of corporate spying. While incarcerated, he’s continued to produce very high-quality, devastatingly witty writing laying into the prison bureaucracy, along a wide range of other targets. If you want to let him know he’s not forgotten, you can wish him a happy birthday at:

Barrett Brown #45047-177
FCI Fort Worth
P.O. Box 15330
Fort Worth, TX 76119
USA

Anything sent from the UK now will probably arrive a few days late, but better late than never. See also here for a list of other comrades incarcerated in the US who have birthdays this month.

About nothingiseverlost

"The impulse to fight against work and management is immediately collective. As we fight against the conditions of our own lives, we see that other people are doing the same. To get anywhere we have to fight side by side. We begin to break down the divisions between us and prejudices, hierarchies, and nationalisms begin to be undermined. As we build trust and solidarity, we grow more daring and combative. More becomes possible. We get more organized, more confident, more disruptive and more powerful."
